NAKSHATRA is a free Vedic astrology platform built for serious students and practitioners of Jyotish. Built by Prashast Pathak — a developer with a deep interest in Vedic astrology and classical Jyotish systems — we provide precise, method-driven tools for birth chart calculation, Dasha analysis, Kundali matching, Panchang, and Muhurat selection.

Our Approach

Every calculation on NAKSHATRA uses Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri Ayanamsa — the same precision standard used by professional Jyotish software. Our methods are grounded in classical texts including Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS), Muhurta Chintamani, and Brihat Samhita.

Why We Built This

We built NAKSHATRA because serious Vedic astrology tools should be free, transparent about their methods, and accessible without requiring an account or login. No data brokering. No paywalls on core tools.
